Covering the in-game mini-map

sureIn Game Interface, change Icon - Minimap Resource to a "custom" invalid icon... call it InvalidIcon.blp, any name will work, as long as it does not exist. You do not need to import anything for this to work.

Note: this will create an entirely black minimap (nothing shows).

or just import a targa file, and set the custom path to "war3mapMap.tga"

I couldn't get the image one to work b/c the image always got stretched in some weird way in-game and it also still showed the units and structures on the map.

That's kind of the point of doing it that way. As was noted in Water War. Which I think is pretty much unique even to this day.

Anyway, the block it out completely, you gotta make it black. Otherwise, if you just want a cool image, it's gonna still show you things.
