This tutorial is to help people take their 3D models and convert them to Warcraft 3 format.

No prior experience necessary.
Video Length: 5:41

Tools used:
Blender v2.79: Blender_(64bit)_v2.79
By Ton Roosendaal

MDL Exporter(fixed): mdl-exporter-2.79
By Kalle Halvarsson

BLP Lab: BLP Lab v0.5.0
By Shadow Daemon

War3 Model Editor: War3 Model Editor
By Magos

My "problem" with this tutorial is that it misses its target audience.

Technically you do not need to be experienced to convert a model, that much is true.
But my question is, when would you have zero experience and need to convert a model?

1. If you made the model yourself you have experience
2. If you didn't made the model it's probably stolen

So, I think this is useful but needs to be rebranded.

NEW TUTORIAL: Rig & Animate Models w/ Blender

If you didn't made the model it's probably stolen

There are thousands of free models online. Also isn't it okay to steal WoW models etc? I see a lot of rips on this site.

when would you have zero experience and need to convert a model?.

I had no experience, was able to convert some buildings and saw the potential.

Then I learned to rig and animate as most free models don't have animations.

So, I think this is useful but needs to be rebranded.

Thanks, I plan to do more short tutorials soon so people can introduce themselves to modeling.
