conf, preloading in lobby, discussion

since some of the map script is executed when you join the lobby rather than when you start the game...

i was wondering, could you possibly do something useful in there..
like preload some things while everybody is waiting anyways..

what CAN you do in the conf section.
what drawbacks are there in say doing a LOT of things there?

is it possible to eg.. set off some periodic script that runs while you are in the lobby and starts setting up the game?

From what I remember, only certain natives are allowed in the config function, and according to the common.j they even have to be called in a certain order.

This is why it was dangerous to have write enabled memory access. Someone could write a virus that could execute by you simply previewing the map in a list.
