Concerning attached images

Hey, I just noticed that you cannot use(or more like it doesn't work properly) the bbcode [attach][/attach] for images if you're using the image from different thread to another.

Well you might say I can just re-attach the images again on that thread but the problem is you actually can't. You have to at least edit the image(not just any open then save) you at least need to add a pixel to be able to attach the image again.

Can you fix this?

I thought at worst it was just not being able to upload attachments of the same name.

But some people don't like big images in our thread specially if it will be a lot.

Is the hidden tag also hated? I think it does a good job of hiding the images. Or maybe you're talking about the downloading of the said image (bandwidth related)?

Nope, they just look well organize if you use the attach bbcode, also they open in a new tab so that it doesn't stretch the screen if you're viewing them.

There does not seem to be a setting for allowing this unfortunately. I don't know but maybe you can also link directly to the thumbnails, this would allow you to combine and [img] to show the thumbnail and link to the big image.

Hmm that was unfortunate. Anyway, the alternative you gave works like a charm although it makes the overall thread really long.

An option would actually be to implement BBcode for thumbnails.

e.g. [thumbnail]{image URL}[/thumbnail]

I don't think it's that simple. There are some other values in there aside from the attachment ID.

I see, welp, that was a nice suggestion but you shouldn't really concern yourself to it if it is a little complicated, we're aware of how busy you are.
