The Hive Workshop

Theme: Demonic
Each contestant created a hand made demonic subject.
Their aim was to bring us something really original and creative. Unoriginal work, such as a random red guy with horns & claws, will influence the judging in a negative way. "Demonic" is something supernatural that is generally described as a malevolent spirit. This includes creatures and objects as well.

The total score is determined using the following formula:

I can update the scores, but there won't be any change in the placings/listings.

It does not differ, the total score seems to be simply reduced by a specific percentage-for everyone.

I already tried it.

I updated the list, you won't see any difference in the order of placings, in fact, just the differences between the scores are reduced.

A completely asthetical aspect.

Stryke, of all people who joined this contest you have the LEAST right to talk about judging whether or not it's a concept, which is a good reason for me to hence only half of your name.

Justice has been served and you should be a fair non-first-placer (other word for loser, I just didn't want it to sound so awful. I'm not thát bad) and congratulate the winner.
Be happy with your second place and be happy I didn't judge this competition or I would've removed you from the board and got the 3rd and 4th place to become 2nd and 3rd. I guess that sums it up.

i would paint a male one exactly the same way. much more realistic than the dragon head.
and only cause it's not alldays-demonic it doesn't mean that it's not demonic.

A 14-eyed dragon, appearing shiny and with a blueish light inside, partially skeletal, in combination with the apple concept, is, in fact, a creative outcome and interpretation of all the demonic aspects.

I am neither here to justify any of my decisions, nor to praise any of the concepts here.

I think both pictures arent creative. Kimberly's is a dragon. A dragon by Kimbelry. Boh never seen that before.
And master, ure picture looks like a typical cybog-painting by you, with an attached red fog... and without the fog it wouldnt look demonic, but the fog is a bit few for a demonic picture.
so, my offer to either side: stop wihning and i hope you are able to cope with the result.

1. Pala is not a she.

2. You can't Never get five judges to judge a contest, seriously.

3. In a lot of contest it's only one or perhaps two judges.

4. It's not laughable, it's objective, and you must accept it like that.

My main objection is why did Nudl score so low for creativity? If you judge it like that, I'd say he'd still get higher than either. Had that sort of reptilian look like with kimberly, but not so cliched.

Jesus fucking christ, its a bloody contest ON A WC3 FANSITE FORUM, its not about fucking winning but having fun.

I lost respect for you, not because you are dissing my work instead of criticizing it constructively/politely, but the fact you are being so whiney, sore and selfish over this small thing. How do you think the people who got lower than you feel huh, what about the people who got 0 votes or just a few?

No one work in this contest is perfect, not mine, not yours, not anyones, everyone to their own with their opinions on the works. I didnt ask to win, infact I thought it would be nice for you to win since there is often a bias around me, but the fact you are acting like this really grinds my gears.

Please, just think of this in a more polite and constructive manner next time.
