computer problems

Right now my firefox is loading slow as shit and rescently it started going slow as hell and when i scroll and type it lags sooo much and sometimes when im using it it would go back to normal for like a few min i dont know if it has to do with cpu or memory when i opened task manager and looked under processes (vista) under cpu for firefox it was 20-25 and sometimes would go down heres my performance pic also system idle process is in the 90's dont know if thats a problem
Note: all i do is when im going to sleep since i have Acer i go to start>sleep

uhm are you using a Laptop? else this 76 processes are way too much, I got only 25-28 processes if i don't run any programs on my PC and it's on normal status after booting...
you got 3x as much as me.. on a laptop it's ok to have more like 40-50, but i think you got a(some) virus(es) dude..

No other browsers except internet explorer most of the processes are system and like 15 are mcafee anti virus i scanned my computer with mcafee anti virus and spybot search and destroy it found i think 2 or 3 trojans but theyre gone now i dont know what is causing this...

Edit: wow this is just fucking awesome...im on my other computer now thats 6 years old and because im on this computer is because i tried to do a driver update on device manager and when it says installing the screen went black i dont know what happened i wasnt paying much attention so i try to reboot it shows the loading bar after that screen goes black again no input go to power save...theres no way i can get back on my other computer unless i pay $100 to lose all my data like models and games...just awesome...

Ok got my pc fixed for $120 but my firefox is still the same...

It's McAfee, Literally the best Anti Virus, but slows down your comp to almost unusable levels, just take it off the Run at Start List and use AVG Free, keep the McAfee for weekly scans though.

Also along with Spybot use AdAware

AdAware is good for picking up Rootkits
