Contact Blizzard tech support?

Also if you want us to help you, you will need to tell us a lot more info than just that you can't install it. OS and system info would be a nice start.

Furthermore, have you tried digitally downloading it using your key?

I take it you mean Windows 7 and not windows 4 (which would be 2000 or something shit that is not supported by the game). Just to make it clear, the game will work on Windows 7, vista and XP. A mac client is also available for some mac OS versions. Older windows and mac opperating systems probably are not supported so the game is unlikly to run.

The game is shipped on a dual layer DVD. CD drives and older DVD drives will probably be unable to read it and I hear you are not alone with this (many people are unable to read the disc).

If the game has been attached to your account, you should be able to download it. If you can not download it then wait a while (currently at the time of this message battlenet 2.0 is experiencing difficulties due to "an update" so services may be disrupted). If it persists for over a day contact blizzard customer support to get the digital download working.

Just a question for windows 7, cause i'll change to it - does it make these shitty thumbnails, images in 'Recently Changed' folder and does it take you GBs when you do big searches throughout your harddisk - Vista does these.

It's your DVD or CD(lol) hardly the game. Try the DVD at a public PC to make sure it runs, then your disk OK.

shadonavan, I had this exact same problem! It's not your disc, it's your CD/DVD drive. Some CD/DVD drives won't read the disc, especially older drives. Your CD/DVD drive might not be able to read UDF discs, and SCII is a UDF disc. Clean the read laser on your CD/DVD drive, and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, replace your CD/DVD drive with a newer drive.
