Colouring runes

Hey guys,

I'm sure there is a thread around on this, but I can't seem to find it.
I was wondering how do you edit the colour of models ie a rune like the ones in DotA? Or alternatively are there already downloadable custom models? I'm specifically looking for a white, red, blue and brown rune.
