CnP and Freehand Icon Quick Question

If you take a pic of your model or take a pic of a certain terrain of your map

then you turn it into an icon

do you consider it a a CnP?? or not??

If its of your model, its fine. Otherwise, it would be CnP.

I make icons from screenshots of blizzard models and nobody seems to mind. If you want to make an icon from a screenshot of someone else's model, you should ask them first.

So long as you're taking part of an image and placing it on your image, it is copy and paste. In some situations though, copy and paste isn't something frowned upon. Like when taking a screenshot of your model and using it for an icon, as said before.
