Class quest, need help

I'm a 23 magician and after i talk to my guild master for the quest i get teleported in an area where nothing happends
I know that it's supposed to be a boss of some sorts, but there isn't
I'm using the lastest verstion
What am i doing wrong?

You have to walk into all the lanterns to activate the boss. The boss encounter has to do with the runes around him. I won't, however, spoil how to defeat him since it is your first try. Good luck and bring some mana pots.
