Clash for the Sacred Cheese is an AoS project that once attempted to take itself seriously but failed. Desperate to earn a place among its countless peers, it decided to take an alternate route and boldly went where nobody had gone before...

Welcome everybody to Clash for the Sacred Cheese, a parody of the AoS genre, an unholy combination of slapstick comedy, black comedy, various other types of comedy and your stereotypical Aeon of Strife Warcraft III map.​

It is a period of turmoil on the fantasy world of Htoreza. The Righteous Empire of Divinity (RED) and the Black Legion of Undead (BLU), devastated by their own magnificent stupidity during the Great War and left with only a skeleton summoning staff and spawning structures that magically create brainless minions[citation needed], decide to pull the oldest trick in the book: seeking out an omnipotent artefact of ages past that can turn the tides and end the war once and for all...

Unbeknownst to them, but knownst to us, the ancient gods play practical pranks the hardcore way...

As per your usual AoS map, there will be two teams: the evilly-heroic RED and the heroically-evil BLU and 3 lanes: top, mid and bottom. Brainless Minions (aka your good ol' dumb creeps) will spawn with an interval of 30s plus periodical unit upgrade and a siege unit every 5th wave. They will fight to the death for you no question asked. Tower structures will guard the lanes with 3 towers per lane positioned strategically with the tower's attack strength inversely proportional to its distance to base and the two most powerful towers will be protecting the main building of each team. The tower invulnerability and anti-backdoor system will be preserved also.

Now what takes the cake is the Capture The Flag element incorporated into the map. Once the main building of a team is destroyed, the drop-on-death cheese item will appear at the building location. A cheese item can only be carried by a hero and said hero will be slowed, doomed and revealed on the map while he is still carrying the cheese. Creeps of the losing team will be buffed and automatically engage the cheese-carrying hero (if within 1000 range) to hinder his movement. The hero carrying the cheese cannot enter the fountain region of his own team (for obvious reasons). Victory is granted when the cheese item of the opposing team is delivered to the designated drop point of your team.

Hello everyone. There is unfortunate news. After a few days of thinking I have decided to set the project status to On Hold. Why? My own negligence and the team members' lack of attention on various aspects of the project is causing a bad effect overall and may end up causing a disbandment of the team, which we are quite close too now btw. Thus I am issueing this in an attempt to rethink everything carefully and organize the correct way for a large team like us work together. You will be notified when I am ready to start once again. Thank you.

Nah, kick all the lazy members then keep all the members who think who can continue. Don't let the project fall because of those lazy bastards. Well I have a feeling they just joined your project just for some fucking recognition.

It is actually my own fault. Due to my own inexperience on leading a project and being too delusional, I ended up causing a grave error that can never be repaired.

Thank you though. I will conduct some approriate actions since it is clear that my own ideal of having a big team backfired in my face.

I feel really horrible saying this but I guess there is no other choice. The truth must be revealed.

During these recent days I have been pursuing a new hobby in light of the suspension of the project. Unfortunately, I was hooked on it quickly and I really don't want to devote my time to any other thing. My daily Hive visit count gradually became lesser and lesser and now I intend to take a short break for a few months, away from this place (perhaps I will do so when August arrives). The fate of this project should be pretty clear now. It is going to be another lost child, just like countless other lost brainchild in the Map Development. My enthusiasm and motivation all died out now and prolonging this suspension isn't going to change anything.

All resources that have been created for this project can be publicized now. If someone would like to take over for me as leader of this project, I will be more than grateful to allow him to.

It has been a short but fun ride with everyone, from the excited supporters to my awesome teammates and also those who disliked this project's premise just with a single look. Farewell, my first project.
