City ideas

Ahem, why hello there dude:) You would also need some carts "driving" through the city. Some merchants bringing in some food and stuff like that for their stores. Maybe some military march from time to time. Some occasional thievery in alley or on the streets. Some men fighting over women (yes, there was something like that in medieval ages).

Edit: more to come!

Maybe make that randomly (from time to time) people shout and rage about an new law or an new tax also make preceptors who every X time goes into all the houses and ask for taxes and make rarely that someone make an crime and that law come to get him and put it in a jail.
Some time there is festivities because some people are getting married or things of this kind.
Maybe (if it does not lag too much) make that when someone or a cart can not walk toward his destination (because there is too much people who block the way) then he becomes angry and shout at others.
Just make enough events and it will look lively.

The fighting part is something I was considering a while ago, but I never added it somehow. I added a few fighting parties now :)
For the cart, it's fairly good really I will do something reminding of the idea.

@noob
The random shout thing will do the trick, for the events I will see how many I got time for.

thanks both of you.

If you want to take the time, you can do a few things to enhance said city's identity.

1- An emblem of the city. A recurring doodad/colour/shape/theme in the architecture, or perhaps in the citizen's attire/mannerisms/the way the speak etc.

2 - Have areas that loosely correspond to the what a real settlement would need. Administrative area, where the leadership resides. Living quarters, markets, etc.

You could also add villagers lumbering, villagers mining at nearby mines or rocks for minerals and etc, barracks where guards or soldiers dwells (make them either do partol at that specific area and two warriors spar each other), a bard playing his/her music at a point where crowds of people are listening, some travelling merchants and etc.

To add to this. Theatre groups often came to town to give a show.
People trying to scam other people with card games or "magic". You could even make a minigame out of that.

A harbour could also be implemented. A good place for fish merchants or perhaps some fish auction?
Crates, carts, tollbooth, registrate and so on would be needed at a harbour alongside a lot of busy workmen.

To add to Solu9's idea of fish, there could be fishermen actually fishing around the harbor. You could have farmers harvesting crops, and it would be more interactive if people turned their heads toward the player or things happening nearby using the Animation - Lock Body-Part Facing trigger. Maybe you could include one of those people that stand at street intersections and shout out news when events occur around the town.
