As some of you may know, Christopher Hitchens died yesterday from pneumonia at the age of 62. Christopher Hitchens was a great author and speaker, and in 2005 he was voted the worlds 5th most intellectual public speaker. He has been a great influence for many of us, and will remain a strong influence for a long time after his death.

May he rest in peace.

He was a very controversial guy, his political views were all over the map. He drew significant criticism from both right and left. I always admired his, "I don't give a fuck what you think of me" attitude though.
