I think he is referring to the bug where there are no channels listed. There is meant to be one listed as "Lobby" but some times it does not show. Refresh usually fixes the issue. If the channel server is down then it will not appear until an admin restarts the chat server.

I can confirm it happens with Microsoft Edge.

This has been happening more and more recently. I'm afraid it's the same problem as @MiniMage is facing. Does the little gem turn green or stay gray?

Oh that. I remember it being gray, I think? Although other people were active in the chat without worries at the same time.
