The orcs infuriated at what the elves had done to one of their camps, marched on to the Elven City, Evendair.
The outer villages were first to come under fire. Anyone seen in the village was brutally murdered by the bloodthirsty orcs. The elves stood no chance, women and children, slain. As they continued onto the city they left the forest behind them a burning wreck.
Second to be under attack by the orcs was a small village named Ereldair, it too didn’t stand a chance. There was one thing about this village, there was a little girl named Daranar who managed to survive. It was as if the orcs chose to leave her.
They orcs were close to enough to be knocking on the gates of Evendair. Fortunately the elves were aware of the orcs now and charged out to meet them at the town of Armeder.
The battle was fierce, the catapults would literally kill more than 30 at a time. A small group of assassins managed to get around the fight and engaged combat with the overlord protecting the catapult. The overlord managed to kill 3 out of the 7 in the group before he was killed. Soon afterwards there was a massive cracking noise as the catapult fell of its wheels.
The battle was in the elves favour, they used the trees to their advantage, chopping them down to hit kill the orcs surrounding it. Valer, the leader of the defence in the city was unfortunately killed, his body scattered into pieces after he engaged combat with one of the overlords.
As the orcish forces thinned out the elves could taste victory. The group who sabotaged the catapult managed to pull it off again by destroying yet another one. It was when they were about to destroy the final catapult that things started going wrong, first, another small wave of orcs rushed into battle, including 2 more catapults, second, the plans for a weapon of magnificent power was stolen from the temple and third, a black light launched up into the air. As it got higher the field the battle was being waged on become darker. There was a loud Crack and the ground started to tremble. Around the source of the light the ground broke and fell down into nothing. Fire and Lava spurt out of the hole and out of it emerged a demon of epic proportion. The darkness subsided but the demon was still standing there, waiting for a command.
