The Great Elven Council was discussing things about these new creatures which seemed to be burning down the forests. They saw these “things” as a threat and decided to turn some of their crafts into weapons of war.
Several Days after this council their queen, Candra was taken by the orcs after orcish assassins managed to get into the throne room. The elves mounted a major counter-attack on a nearby encampment to get the queen back, once they found her it was too late, she suffered a massive blow to the head, a blow which no elf had ever seen. The encampment was eventually left destroyed, a small victory for the elves.
