I got a problem with an ability based on the channel spell.
This action does not function while using it.
"unit-kill target unit of abilty being cast"
I've tried "targeted unit" too, but the unit remains alive.
Do i have to use something else? like another base ability or something? :p

Do this. Use your channel ability, set target to unit target and change the targets allowed to what ever you want.

For the triggering part :

Use the units starts the effect of an ability(The Generic event)
then the condition - ability being cast = your ability
and the action - unit kill target unit and set the target to Event responce - Get Spell target unit

Srry for explaining bad...

Well, the ability works fine, it targets the unit and plays the animations.
But the issue is, the unit just stands there. Alive and kickin'.

The ability is meant as a sacrifice-ability. Used on one of your own units to gain an item. The caster gets the item and all, but the targeted unit isnt affected.

I figured it out. I changed the event to:
-starts the effects of.
instead of:
-finishes casting.
Thanks for help anyway :D
