Channel Based Unit play animation while in CASTING time

I have a skil that has Casting Time (based on channel ability) and it simply doesn't play the animations while casting (not when the effect starts, but when the hero is CASTING). How to make it work ?

Casting time is 0.30 seconds.

As far as I know, all ability won't play any animation before their casting time expires and same goes with channel. Because you are using channel, just adjust the follow through time. This will act like casting time except that it plays the animation before the spell effect actually starts. Something like channeling spells (Blizzard for example).
