Changing a unit's attack sound with an item

Hi, I'm working with the lightsabre model and have an item which attaches a lightsabre to my models when they pick it up. It then makes an igniting sound effect, and then loops the humming sound of the lightsabre. The only thing I can make happen with triggers is Having the unit who picks up the item change their attack sound. Anyone know of a trigger sequence that can do this?

There doesn't seem to be an event for unit attacking.... though there is one for units starting to channel an ability. Also I'm finding it hard to manipulate the conditions so that the sound only happens when the unit is carrying the item, also so it happens to any unit carrying that kind of item. Any ideas?

why dont you replace an internal sound (for ej: orb of corruption) and then make your item have as an ability orb of corruption (attack modifier)... this will make the game search for the orb of corruption sound and as you have replaced it... the game will play your light saber sound instead of orb of corruption

Awesome guys, thanks. Still not sure how to enter the condition if I'm doing it with triggers such that the unit's attack will only sound like a lightsabre while they are holding the item.

Guys amazing results haha. Yeah I knew about 3d sounds, makes it way better huh? Cool, yeah I'm kinda new to this and was having trouble defining conditions. I'll give this a shot. Amazing response time!
