Change Faction in Editor

hi there,i switched the faction to nightelf from player 1 for example,but ingame i can hear the human themes so the faction is still human.And i tried also to make player 1 to nightelf and nothing works.

Is Fixed Player Settings on? (The option is in Scenario -> Force Properties)

yeah now it works thanks,another question,in player properties there are numerous players,player 1,2 etc. can i now type player 1 at purple and i start as lila?

Nah, if you want it for testing issues, temporarily set the rest players as Computer and set Player 4 (Purple) as User or manually launch the map via the game itself and select the player slot you want to place yourself at.

Or you can trigger it by making the Player 1's color purple,and Player 4's color red:

• Color
  • Events
    • Map initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Player - Change color of Player 1 (Red) to Purple, Changing color of existing units
    • Player - Change color of Player 4 (Purple) to Red, Changing color of existing units
