Chain Mana burn

I need someone with excellent experience in spells that can tell me how to create the Chain Mana burn spell(not in GUI).There is a tutorial,but it shows how to create the spell in GUI.Can somebody know how to make this spell(not in GUI)?If yes,then post the triggers and the necessary dummy.
