Cant import a map.

I am trying to upload my first hive map i made but all i can upload are the maps i've downloaded and the normal maps.

It needs to be accepted by the moderators first.
Also, a general rule is never to upload your first map, since they tend to lack in quality (We all have made first maps)

Oh ok, this isnt my first map made but my first map going to be downloaded to hive.

Be advised that it may take X amount of time for your map to be officially approved. So just be patient In the meantime, wait and see what the users say about it.

5 hours probably ain't gonna cut it. You should probably prepare yourself for more like a week or even longer, depending on the moderators. And be prepared for some critique.

Yes, or give other people feedback on their maps. Usually they will be happy to return the favour

Well the most I find are lame... I have only found 8 maps interesting.

Acctually thats not true, more like 20.

One of my maps has been pending since 10/31/10. No mod has looked at it. You could be waiting a long time.

Frankly the whole maps needing to be moderated seems inefficient. It can take anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes to properly check out a map.

Map moderators do try their best but please be patient. You can help speed up map moderation by reporting maps which noticably violate site rules.

Believe me, your map willbe pending for a long time if you don't PM a mod or a map reviewer. Map reviewers will tell you what you have to improve with your map.
