Simple Question. When creating a campaign, can I important everything (given it is used in every or most maps) into the campaign import manager and theoretically have little to nothing imported into each separate map? This could save storage space.
@OP: It should not only save space in the archive but also grant you a better layout. You would not want to change the data in each map individually that should be common. Of course it adds some burden to have all the data everywhere, but wc3 initializes most on first use and you likely won't have hundreds of maps in the campaign with too different contents.
I am 101% sure of that. You wont be able to load a chapter that got the size of 8 mb or higher, I have had that problem several times in my Tales of the Scarlet Crusade project.
SO that's why my bloody map goes black everytime I try to load it. It's current filesize is 8.02 mb. Big thanks!
As for the campaign import manager, use it in combination of the custom data and never open the object editor and you can have all your units in all your maps without having to import them through the normal object editor.
