Bugs with books of power

Sometimes all bought Books of power (damage/primary attributes/etc) drop down on death of hero. Upon reviving all bonuses is also lost, and you have to pickup dropped stuff to restore balance.

Is there any real reasons for such behavior or its random bug without any solutions?

Power ups are dropped immediately after pickup and do not dwell in the inventory.

did u see books drop on usual wc3 games?
i mean books of wisdom/agility/etc.

Yes. Tomes are killed on pickup.

yeah. and they are do not drop when hero died.
but sometimes they dropped all together, without reasons

I invoked the question how the hero can drop them on death without possessing them. Anyway, never had that issue nor read about it. Do you have checked drop items on death? Have you tried replacing them manually? Do you reuse a tome or are they freshly created everytime? In latter case they should be removed after pickup, else the "corpse" will remain. How do you see that they are dropped on death other than values resetting? Are the heroes morphed?

yeah, i did remove it on pickup to remove memory leaks.
yes, hero usually morphing, and since all books bonuses are removed on morph (without drop) i reapply them to hero again via triggers.
