How would one go about adding a buff on a unit using JASS, without having to use a dummy unit to cast a spell on the unit? If you have do it using a dummy unit, is there a spell thats best to use so you can make it not give any effect?

It depends on you how change spell and buff effects, so you can make it by dummy and without any effect
