Sin'dorei300: As has been said, try to reduce blurriness. Define Yoshi's face better, make it stand out more from the background.

Sin'dorei300: I don't see any major changes.
It'd be good to see the difference from the old one.
The icon looks pixelated (especially the eyes).
I suggest u to define everything better and to improve shading.
Atm, it seems kinda flat & undefined.
Also, improve the contrast.

(Translation; I do enjoy the Yoshi race a whole lot and Yoshis are known throughout time itself. Yoshis are also my favorite Mario Creature to from the Mario Series)

I used to work A LOT with Gamemaker's inbuilt sprite editor, so I used it to make this one

the gamemaker 8.1 has a pretty good one!

(I also used a bit of Paint.net)

What's up with the bluriness? Try and get rid of those blurry edges.

And I think you could use less saturated/bright colors. You're right about that icons like this don't really need to fit in Wc3 but the background is stealing a lot of attention from the Yoshi itself due to it being so bright and close in color. Your Piranha icon does not have a Wc3-ish background but it is a better choice than this.

Got pretty blurry this time. It needs a black outline, and the yellow light needs to dissipate into something brighter yet less opaque when it hits the character.
