looks really good and nice how the BG and the bolt/lightning are both green but look really good together and how the BG gets darker the further it is from the bolt.
(did you get this idea from under your desk too? :P)

Ok, i won't.

I'm sorry, but I really must point this out.. Is anyone else disagreeing with that rating? Perhaps it's different on the Hive, but since when does personal preference tie in with a rating of a resource. How can a moderator possibly deny any future resources based on personal preference, rather than what they are supposed to be rating: the usefulness of the resource, quality of the resource, appropriateness, etc.

People seem to be happy for this resource, and adding suggestions. Why should an artist be denied to make resources for something totally irrational: the moderator's preferences. Resources should be rated on quality, usefulness, etc. Not what the rating moderator likes and dislikes. Otherwise, the rating and approval of Hive Resources are just completely not uniform.

Ok, back to the icon itself. Great icon, it's like Ima-Fire-Ma-Lazer.. but green :P 4.5/5 - needs a bit of white around, just more variance of colors..

Maybe because of the originality rule, and the thing -BerZeKeR- said too?

He just stated that fact since
Pyramidhe@d: I dont really like accepting elemental bolts but this looks acceptable. Just dont make these anymore.
sounded like he just don't like to accept these icons, not because of any rule/whatsoever. And Berzerkers post was after Chiefs post, so how could he know?

But whatever, it is probably because of the the originality and that there are a huge amount of bolts/rays in the icon section. Period.
