The slashing effect or glow looks kinda... boring?
The cutlass looks cool.
Mayde add a glow?

The shape looks really wrong. The sword is huge, the handle is huge, doesn't look like a sword. Shading is poor, you should add alot of highlights and shadows.

i see no cutlass. You have to define the sword more than the gas. or else we wont see any sword. just a blurr.
Also, try to add a lot more shading along the edges of the blade and the hilt to pop it out a bit more. Highlights would definatly help this icon as well.
The gas looks good, but i think it should be placed within the BG instead of above the main idea. It really distracts from the main idea.

Looked much better before. Change it back to the old, and only change what I told you in my reveiw, and then I will give you more reveiw.
