OK, here's where i am now:
-i have an mdx that do not have bones..
-i have that mdx textured..
-now i want it animated so i have to put bones..

WHere do i find a tutorial that tells me how to put bones to an mdx that does not require me to apply the texture all over again.. (because if i use milkshape, it will turn the mdx to a ms3d file, then i would convert it <--- after this the mdx is untextured again and i have to apply it all over again..)

please help me.. i really want to learn how to animate..

Yes you can do it in mdlvs. Open your mdx file in mdlvs and at the top in the task bar click modules and click sequence editor. The task bar will change, and add 3 buttons. Bones, animations, movement. Click bones. To create bones, click create on the tool bar then hit bone. Remember when creating bones you should make sure you attach the vertices of the geoset to it. Not every geoset just like parts such as one geoset being a full body. But making a hand bone only attach the hand part of the geoset. =D
