I have a question about BBcodes.

Is it possible to make two different BBcodes with the same terminating-string?
Like:
  • [code1]value[/bb]
  • [code2]value[/bb]
?

Please tell me and remove this thread (if necessary) if this is not the right place to ask this question.

I just thought it would be easier for editing long descriptions to end [b], [i] and [u] with [/t] or something similar.

I also thought that the [img]image url[/img] tags should have an argument like [img="link"]image url[/img]. This should get rid of some URL tags and shorted a large amount of signatures and posts.

I have another suggestion: Can you make some words autocorrect? e.g Im youre Dont wont cant , ppl me included are too lazy to type inverted commas, just type 'dont' it auto-corrects to don't
Lazyness amongst members is no reason to include this, just spend a second of your life adding that inverted comma. Besides, what if I want to write "dont" (for example, if someone was named Dont) and not "don't"?

Adding apostrophes tells something about what kind of person you are. Either you are "I don't care as long as people understand what I write" or you are "I write my messages grammatically correct so people can see that I am educated".
This is of course a very rough split so don't take it too serious, but I think you can tell something about people by how they post messages.

My suggestion, use:

Your Control Panel -> Settings & Options-> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options
Message Editor Interface: Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing

Create awesome description or whatever Easy!
Care with this, if you try to copy tables or stuff like that it can be buggy :D

You can always change this back to Standard Editing (good for map descriptions where you need raw code)

Uh, I totally forgot about that! Thanks!

But, uh... My descriptions are made of many tables... :C
