Everything is kinda messy and you're using bright colors and have poor shading. Not that good actually :/

i think it would look good if the cape wasn't there and he only had one shoulder pad which was metal like his breast plate and add the burning eyes like the priests. but i think you would have to model it.

but the ingame apearience rocks!
paint the legs that way, too.
to the rest... well make more changes from the standart skin... like face, hair, etc. its needs more shadings.

like on pants, every peace of that mail needs to have his own shadows and highlights.

cloak is rly messy, try redesigning it
make his beard and hair in diferent color
do not use so much gold on the armour

I've been watching this one, and it now looks better, but shading is required. This might make the colours less "burn" like.

turn yellow trimings into golden and tone 'em down. as well as the cape. do not be afraid to done down all. it always looks good. =3

fix his hair by bluring it a bit =3 right now it looks like a woly rag xD and hair too, needs it shading and highlights

i suggest workin' on a bigger picture for more detail, then shrinking it to original size with just a wee bit sharpening ^^

Did you used dodge and burn tools to create this skin? Because I see some odd strong colors here and there.
You've used too much highlights on the chest part of the armor.
The hair and goatee is too much yellow, and the yellow on the armors do not look like gold.

I think this is a 4/5 because u can make it look better like if you gave him just a sword in its sheath it make it look better and it would be more realistic im not telling you to use it in animation but just have one for show. And there is still more you can do to make it better
