Battalion Wars v0.9.8

This is a type of tug of war game, like castle wars. You build buildings and they periodically send people towards the enemy. You can also upgrade most of the buildings to send upgraded versions of units. With a unique armor system, 10 upgrades to choose from with up to 7 levels, and units made to counter other units, you'll never get bored of the game! The game also features a balancing system and other little commands you can use for the ultimate gaming experience!

>>Auto Balancing system:
The Auto balancing system lets you play 1v1, 2v1 or 1v2, and balances the game so that both teams get equal amounts of money, as well was gives control over their allies buildings and units. Seeing as warcraft is being outdated by starcraft, i thought this was necessary.

>>Armor System:
The armor system stops snipers from killing a helicopter in one shot, but allows him to kill footmen easily. Armor Types and stats are listed below.

I purposely made the armor system as simple as possible to keep newer players from having a hard time understanding it.

-Health of all units

*Note: Most of these upgrades count for upgraded versions of the same unit type*

>>Helpful Commands:
-allow/disallow Control (allows you to control your units. Only player red can activate)
-zoom normal/far/very far/super far (changes view)
-kill (kills unit selected)
-Third Person (just for fun ^^)
-normal view


>>Units:
-Captain - Strong "leader of the army", required to unlock most other types of units, research "Captain aura" to add aura to leader. Upgrades to: Mounted Captain
-Mounted Captain - Much faster that the captain, very strong, Expensive, research "Captain aura" to add aura to leader. Upgrades to: N/A
-Footmen - Your basic, weak, generally massed unit. Upgrades to: Knight and Plated Footmen
-knight - footmen on a horse, a strong fast unit, good against ranged because of its speed. Upgrades to: Critical Knight
-Critical Knight - A slightly upgraded knight, special ability to critical hit enemies and cause added damage. Upgrades to: N/A
-Plated Footmen - A heavily armored footmen, hardly effected by pierce attacks. Upgrades to: N/A
-Marine - Your basic ranged soldier, generally massed, ok against all. Upgrades to: Firebat
-Firebat - Short range, strong unit. Essentially an anti footmen and massed unit killer. Super fast attack speed, low damage, burning damage over time. Upgrades to: N/A
-Sniper - Long range high damage unit, great at killing "unarmored" units like footmen or knights, terrible against helicopters and tanks. Upgrades to: Agile sniper
-Agile sniper - Slightly upgraded sniper, chance to dodge incoming attacks 70% of the time, terrible against tanks and helicopters. Upgrades to: N/A
-Helicopter - Air unit unaffected by melee, fast, low-medium damage. Upgrades to: FD 35
-FD 35 - much better attack against enemy aircraft and ground units, faster than regular helicopter. Upgraded to: N/A
-Tank - Very strong unit, not very effected against normal or pierce attacks, Needed to every army, effective at destroying enemy defensive towers. Upgrades to: Steam Fortress
-Steam Fortress - Strongest unit in the game, super effective against buildings, towers and other tanks, has splash damage. Upgrades to: N/A
-Mortar Team - A unit that specializes in killing tanks, long range anti tank unit, can only attack tanks, massive damage. Upgrades to: N/A
-Archer - Average ranged unit, like the marine but has greater damage/range and slower attack speed, good against footmen. Upgrades to: Multishot archer
-Multishot archer - slightly upgraded archer,shoots multiple targets at once, great against mass footmen. Upgrades to: N/A
-Anti Air Prawlers - Cannot attack ground units, very effective against air. Upgrades to: N/A


>>Special events:
- Flood~ spawns flood from "halo 3" to attack either base ^^
- Random Gold~ gives a random amount of gold between 100 and 400 to each player
- Lightning~ Zeus got ANGRY and killed all units on the battle field
- 2 random tower deaths~ kills 2 random chosen towers, does not destroy upgraded towes
- No fog~ disables fog of war to see the enemies base for 10 seconds.
- Extra Wood~ gives all players 1 extra wood to build another gold generator
- reinforcements~ Random number between 5 and 10 plated footmen created for each team to attack enemy sides
- Allied Help~ 4 steam engines created for each team that attack other side (like reinforcements)


>>Stats at the end:
A complete list of stats are shown at the end of every game. the stats include but are not limited to:
-Kills from tanks/footmen/snipers/knights/helecopters/Anti Tank/Anti Air/Firebats/etc...
-Total time that the game took place for
-Total kills from all 4 players
-Soon to be more information


>>Restart function:
Restart the game after completing a round instead of having to rehost.


>>Gold generators:
Gold generators help you to increase the income you receive, besides the regular income. However gold generators cost lumber and therefore you can only build a certain amount. the only way of increasing your lumber is by special events.
Gold generators can be upgraded 3 times at the cost of gold, each time, increasing the amount of gold received from them. If one is destroyed, you cannot rebuild it as the lumber used to build it is lost. Always protect them.
