Hi all, so i was trying to import the Baron Darkclaw custom unit into warcraft 3 and a couple of things:

1) In my object editor there is no "Art- Model File - Portrait". for some reason that is missing. So i followed with the other instructions anyway.

2) i notice that when i choose the model file, the ending of the file changes from .mdx to .mdl Is this supposed to happen?

And also the model does not show up when playing the game. I have tried a few things that were not in the guide to try and fix things up but it wasnt working. I've also had problems importing the Yuan-chi and the pandaren ninja files.

However, the worgen footman, blackfur hunter, pandaren militiea, the "big" pandaren, the pandaren villager, the morgan ironhand and the worgen peasant models have all imported fine. I've followed the instructions for the other three and it doesnt work. Can anyone give me advice?

Did you changed the path for the texture to WorgenShoulderPad.blp instead WarIIIMapImported\WorgenShoulderPad.blp ?

Did you saved map before use? If not, then try closing and reopening.

Do the files show 0KB size? If yes then reimport models, texture and start from the bottom.

And yes it is supposed to happen to show .mdl

i had tried the saving the map before use and closing and reopening it didnt work.

The files dont show 0kb size.

And i didnt know that about the mdx to mdl thing.

Edit: I dont know what i did but i did it again and it made baron darkclaw appear weird with a red background. Created a new map and somehow it worked =S. Thing is i didnt do anything different. But thanks for the help =D, much appreciated =D
