warcraft 3's default models have huge filesizes, and this isn't that far edited from the original and has a large filesize too

I suggest you give the bandit a spear or an axe to throw instead. The storm hammer doesn't really fit.
Also, make some more changes to the model; Add some more bandit-like armor to the gryphon, perhaps? I don't really know.
