if the person is banned, he can't even enter the site right?

why you make the banned account can no longer be used and the person IP would not be used to login?

You can change your IP. Make a new account, then procede as you wish. That's why its like that.

@Konblade: That's incorrect. If you're banned, the point is that you can't access the forum. Ever. That's the punishment. Making another account will just get that one banned.

yes but while getting banned from the forums, dont you also get banned from the whole website?

oz, I think you missunderstood konblade a bit, he only clarified WHY we IP-ban (-> because only closing the account doesn't help)
btw why should a guy be able to access the site anymore? he was warned before, and reading & following the rules isn't that hard :roll:
