Azure Tower Defense Ultimate v.21.1

Created Blizzard Entertainment, Improvements by Ironside

This map is an Improvement to the original Azure Tower Defense created by Blizzard.
Map History


I first started to work on this improvement, when I found several bugs in the

original map (the very first bug was, that when any player left, creeps

didn't stop to spawn on that line). So soon after that I made the first

version of this map: Azure Tower Defense Improved v.0.1.
When I hosted it several times in a row, I've seen that people were very

happy to see this map with it's improvements.
So I decided that I shall further work on A.T.D.I and soon added many more

things into the map that made the public very happy.

I will write down some main changes from the original map:

- Added 3 modes (-easy , -normal , -hard) later added -uber for the very professional

players of ATD. I added the modes because I saw that many players could not

defeat the normal ATD. I also added the modes so that professional players could

player harder ATD if it was too easy.

- Added several Legendary heroes, every player can only pick 1 of them. These

heroes are far stronger than the normal 3 and are mostly used to make the

game more fun and more easy to play.

- Much more!

Modes & Their Function


[-easy] sets the game mode to easy. Gold income per creep kill is now 3.

Creeps HP is 100%

[-normal] sets the game mode to normal. Gold income per creep kill is now 2.

Creeps HP is 125%

[-hard] sets the game mode to hard. Gold income per creep kill is now 1.

Creeps HP is 165%

[-uber] sets the game mode to uber. Gold income per creep kill is now 0.

Creeps HP is 225%

Azure Tower Defense Ultimate

Foreword: This is a new version, in which I switched from the normal Improvements to a new level. Now the forces of Mnesthes can be controled by a player (this is even recommended!)

The map is not protected, however I do not want anyone to edit it. If you do, it must not have a name like this map.

1/5 voting for rejection, why? first...there's not much things you added to this map, you tend to steal blizzard maps and edit them then upload them here like you did with the blizzard map ''Divide and Conquer'' on http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/maps-564/great-battles-middle-ages-v-10-2-a-162975/, well anyone could do that, and you're nothing more but someone who can't do his own maps and keeps ranting about other maps.

I dont agree, you can see the improvements.

Update on Ultimate Version:

-Added new Boss (Ultimate Ghoul)
-Added delay between the Boss fights in the Boss Marathon
-Fixed Bash and it's alternatives overpowered effects
-Fixed the Bosses spawning on each others instead of like normal units
-Before fighting the strongest bosses, you are given 45 seconds to update the base
-Fixed the graphic error by playing Leo for the whole game
-Fixed several imbalances among heroes
-Fixed the factory that disappeared 2 rounds early
-The final Boss Mnesthes now has several spells, which make him harder to kill
-Player 10 can now be controlled by a Player (This is recommended)
-I have added a center for the Player 10 base, in which there will be available units and other things for the player
-Fixed a critical bug for version 14.2
-Balanced Leo's Holy Warrior and Holy Slash spells
-Added new icon for Leo's Holy Slash, as it was lame that he had 2x Attribute Bonus icon
-Added Debug command, which is used for testing in Single Player
-Most Fly units are now Hover (to prevent abuse)
-Machine Noname now properly builds Auto-Cannon
-Machine Noname's Rockets nerfed
-Machine Noname's Laser is now stronger
-Machine Noname's Auto-Cannon's are now cheaper
-Robot Army now attacks in larger numbers
-New Unit: Suicide Bomber >> Cost: 500 gold, attack 500 (100, 200, 300 AOE splash) Ability: Suicide (10.000 damage 1000 AOE, 5.000 damage 500 AOE (affects trees & units)
-Azure Dragon-Hawk are now limited to 8 per player
-Suicide Bombers are now limited to 2
-Delay for some rounds has been increased.
-Fixed Handicap for Ultimate Boss, which didn't work
-Changed Hard & Uber modes from 165% , 225% to 150% , 200%
-Much more to come!

Great! I have seen your improvement. Maybe there's something to imbalance, like the ability Suicide of Suicide Bomber @@.
Good idea to send a player to control the spawning monsters, but better he can only improve the monsters but how ?It's a hard question...

He can control so he uses the abilities of the Creeps, as players don't use them.

-Added New Tower: Ultimate Astral Zenith (cost: 1500 gold, upgrades from Astral Zenith)
-Added New Tower: Cannon Tower (cost: 1000 gold, built by Ultimate Tower Builder)
-Added New Tower: Ultimate Cannon Tower (cost: 1500 gold, upgrades from Cannon Tower)
-Replaced Crystal Builder with Ultimate Tower Builder
-Replaced Astral Technology with Ultimate Technology
-Fixed the Crazy Wolf to be a normal hero
-I have finaly created the additional monster spawning for Mnesthes players.
-Much more to come!

I saw 2 bugs here.
First: After played a bit (25 levels) I found 3 Quest "Mode" with same description.
This one is very interesting, I can summon up to 4 Heroes ? The 3 Heroes created by Blizzard, do you remember it ? Better delete them :)
A very small bug that a little-little-baby-troll stands outside of the Gateway and looks at me, I look at him, both look at each other...
Suicider seems doesn't work on boss very much :(
But anyway this is a good map after all, I haven't checked the Mnesthes team yet,but maybe somedays...

1. The Quest mode: Will fix, thank you
2. The 3 heroes + Legend are intended
3. The Baby troll, never seen before, but will check the triggers
4. Suicider is more than not meant to destroy trees for more tower space.

"The little-little-baby-troll",it was a normal troll that I leaked :-S but it doesn't disappear so I burned it :p
And thanks for your rep,but I don't need them too much, I'm only a map creator like you but have no time to work on them (my stupid computer is too lag and I'm only in grade 9,so I have to study or I'll die @@ [rules in Vietnam is worse than any country else T.T]) so I decide to go around and around find something interesting for me.
 
Stop updating a new version every few hours please.
Why should i download your map, if i know that a few hours later will be a newer version.
Don't like it. Game modes are awfully done and skills need work, as well as all the other bugs I noticed.
It dosent work for me.
Please stop make new versions all the time. work at it for at least a week and then release a new version!

Abilities for Legendary hero "Zera" has bad learn and learned icon position!

Also some abilities has bad description:
That Darkness or whatever look like this:
Hero has 90% chance to stun target for 1 sec.Has 30%
chance...

Instead of (example):
Hero has 90% chance to stun target for 1 sec.
And 30% chance to deal...

Also hotkeys and ability descriptions should look better!

Damage, cooldown and range will improve with level :sad:
Please at least in spell description (not learn menu) write something like:

Damage: xxxx
Cooldown: xxxx
etc etc

Other than that looks ok!

Update on Ultimate Version:


- Siren now triggers properly with other heroes
- Improved the code to cause less lag (effects)
- Normal heroes spawn time is now 20 seconds
- Legendary heroes spawn time is now 30 seconds
- Changed the title from Improved to Ultimate
- Aniz Boomerang mana cost set to a constant 100
- Normal heroes have now also got 522 speed
- Made some Boss messages better
- Normal heroes abilities improved a little
- Ancient Wyverns Dark Agility is now faster and deals less damage
- Zera Swarm of Craws summon rate changed from constant 0.1 to 0.1 / 0.06 / 0.01
- If both players on a line leave their buildings now get removed
- Karthus Requiem AOE changed from global to 7500
- Fixed some major problems when players leave.
- Alpluma Living Trees Throns aura changed from 25% to 30% slow,
- In addition it gives them a chance of 15% to entagle the unit for 5 seconds, dealing 250 damage per second
- Alpluma Water Guardians duration increased by 5 seconds in all levels
- Alpluma Water Guardian cooldown decreased from 65/50/35 to 45/40/30
- Researches will now complete in 30 seconds instead of 60 seconds
- Removed the normal 3 heroes
- Wisps are now by the corners of the line instead of the beginning
- Added Ken's Tower (you need to have the Legendary Hero Ken)

I just found about it and played today with the walkthrough inside the map. I am really happy with this map. Playing ATD was always stressing for me but this changed it a little.
I played with lightning panda and the electric move is v slow. I thought it would be zap zap zap and you reach the target location, but the animation and the effects are nice. The bonus on the towers was really awesome. As soon as I saw that the buildings were not invulnerable, I knew something out there is going to come and attack the towers which they did.

The last boss seems kinda useless as after getting it stunned, it just got butchered away. I liked the the ghost army best. Completely unpredictable, out of the blue but yet they fit in the game.
