My latest terrain, personally I'm liking this one the most out of all my previous attempts.

C&C is very welcome. As a side note, please open it as a large picture in a separate window so that you may look at it in full screen.

BEAUTIFUL.
Seriously; it's beautiful. You deserve Rep!

I love the work you've done with the water. It's awesome.

Where'd you get those rock models?
Thanks :D
You can find it in the map pack here: http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=83031 It's file name is Felsen.mdx and Felsen2, you'll also need the Felswand.blp just make the texture path "Textures\Felswand.blp and you should be good.

Very likeable, good work Azurot.

I really love the way you've used the felsen rocks, you truely know how to work your way around them. The only think I can manage to not like is the sunrays and the fact that the terrain lacks any real depth, the background even gives a slight hint of "end of the world."

I'd say, flatten out the layer of mountains you have in the back so that they merely show above the frontal ones, then add another layer of mountains behind them. As a part of this you might want to tint the fog brighter or darker, or just steeper or lighter.

That sounds reasonable, I suppose ill try it. Thanks for the in-depth evaluation!

Damn this is looking nice.
But however, due to the fact that the water quite is not "living", it just seems like a plane, you could try to fix that.
Also, some models are a little bit stretched.
The background is great, but it looks a little like either FoV or a Cloud model cuts some models in there.
Top right corner looks about all the same, try adding more tree variations in there ( or add more tree variations overall ). Possibly resizing would be enough as well.

Nice work, well done. +rep

I have one question.

The models of rock you used.. . the pack of models where you extracted, is there a possibility for that models to work in RoC. ?

Also, one dummy question. How do I know which textures belong to every model?
