Award Icons (different suggestion)

this is a different suggestion than the one in the other thread
but if you feel like it you can merge them right?

at this moment, if you click on an award icon (1) it takes you to the user's profile - award showcase.
if you click on an award there (2) you will be taken to the awards list (with all the awards).
if you click on a link like "Phoenix Competition #4 - Winner" there (3), you are taken to a small page that shows only the award (4).. which is kind of useless since it gives no other information than the other pages already pointed out

would it be possible to make either the icon beneath each post, or the icon in the user profile, or the link on the awards list, become a link to the actual competition thread?
many times i wished it would do so

The problem is that the competition threads are often quite messy. I'd be happy with the award listing page, linking to the competition thread.
