Authorization for custom sounds ?

I was reading the rules to post a custom map then Im creating a map to post here( almost finished), and it use units sounds from other game... Im not getting contact to request authorization.

archers and footmans has other imported sounds

The game is from 1997

May I post the map anyway ?

I feel that if you properly give credits to the game and the people involved it should be fine.
