Attack speed detection system?

Hi to everyone.I want to ask because i am new in Warcraft moding if there is a tutorial explaining how to make to enter a code in my map to see the move speed and the attack speed of my hero like in Dota-allstars where you type ex -ms to show you your hero's move speed.I need too a tutorial how to make a duel trigger in my mapThank You.

There should probably be a guide somewhere there are alot of tutorials just search for what you want in that forum and you'll probably find it best of luck.

Such a system would be almost impossible. Even if such a system was built, it would be rather inaccurate. Especially if the unit had other unorthodox methods of attack. (for example phoenix fire)

to check for attack speed huh?

hmm

i would create a dummy unit next to your hero, then order your hero to attack it, then check the time between attacks then say that it is your "average" attack speed.

It is possible with Jass.

What you would have to do is store variables for each .001 seconds (or something like that) that pass. Depending on whatever that it, it will display to the owner of their hero...

Crap, this would take forever. While DoTA is overkill, they got some pretty damn good people on their team.
