i would say its a rather well made cinematic, although i didn't really get the plot, which is a little weird. i think this is more of a trailer then an intro. you used the voices quite good also. keep working on it, maybe you should provide some more information on the story

I must say, the voices was rather really poor, nice composed tho, making them work together, but the whole story didn't say much, no feeling to it.

To be fully honest it all was very weak, I blame the plot which I didn't understand since you only used voices from the blizzard archive.
To that I didn't see much of a story at all more than some SFX's and fights.
Maybe further into the cinematic I will get the hang of the plot?

I say, sharpen up more, don't use the voices from blizzard like that, rather use you'r own manus script and then instead of voices use different music in all kind of situations.

I can show you maybe :)
A cinematic is built on triggers, so use them, triggers for every singel unit on screen if so, use your creativity to create something really nice to watch.
Tho I enjoyed watching the big battle.

Lol.... those are blizzard voice.

To leet.firefox : I have to said you did a good work in utilize those voice which came from blizzard, is not easy to do that.

You even use custom script to make it look more alive, more to movies.

Camera could still be improve, and there is a contradiction. The footman said "For Lordaeron" while Furion said "For Kalimdor", which is more accurate ?

Apart from that, it was kinda funny that Thrall could still sit while saying "Let none survive".

I suggest you to learn Anitarf Cinematic System, it would be very helpful for your cinematic.

3/5 from me.

Lol.... those are blizzard voice.

I didn't mean the voice itself was poor, I mean they were poor to the cinematic / movie, he was making with them. I rather see his own lines, his script, then seeing a lot of different blizzard voiced soundings tried to forged together making a cinematic, the outcome as I saw it now wasn't looking too good.

Anyways, I believe you could go a long way with music.

when you do use music later on you will have to cut the music for your needs :) Use the program audacity, it works very easy, it's small, free and easy to use. Just search it on google. (Cut music to make your map smaller in size)

um thanks guys. this was really just a test cinematic for me, to see what I could do. this is my first cinematic ever. I know the voices and story do not make sense. actually the story takes place in an entirely different world. I just thought it would be cool to use blizzard voices. Part 1 will be longer, better, explain the story, and possibly feature voice acting!

The cinematic was nicely made seeing it is your first ever cinematic. The use of the original blizzard voices was too good. they were well placed.
BUT
the problem is that these DO NOT give any idea regarding the story of "FFAdventure1Official" whatsoever. also there were mistakes also. like there were people were saying "for lordareon" or kalimdor but instead the game is set in IVALICE. There were slogans like the Warsong is supreme or like these but there is no warsong in "FFAdventure1Official" ,at least not which i have encountered till now.

This cinematic cannot be called an intro to "FFAdventure1Official". If you just say that it is a battle scene then it is much more appropriate.
Hey but don't think bad due to all this as i had said in the beginning the cinematic is well made and that is the first one you have made.

lol, no. It was not designed as an intro for that. It was designed for an intro to a cinematic series. But it has changed directions and now this is really just some random cinematic.
Btw, did you watch the first one or the one lower down, the one lower down is a slightly better version.
I might also release a new version which improves it a little bit more, and adds another scene.

1.....Sorry i thought it was intro for the ff series.
2.....I saw the one a little down.
3.....Why don't you take out the previous version from the first post. that will just save your problem of asking which version they had watched.
4.....when do you hope to release the next version?
5.....why don't you upload this on the Hive?

The story is not very understandable, that is for sure, but this was a nice debut. Good use of the Warcraft voices (even though it's obvious that they're not too synchronized, if that is the right word) and the effects.
A cinematic type of map that's OK for a first-time go.

Definitely good for a first. Well done. However, the blizzard voices were annoying. Sure, there better than most voice acting, but still it sounded weird in most parts.

Cameras could have been better and the infernal/rain of fire effects were sort of badly used since they sometimes landed directly on units and the units didn't even notice it, but pretty good for a first indeed.

Did you updated it too? You mentioned a next version to me last time.

Ah, no, I've been having some technical issues so Ima have to hold out on it for a little bit. And plus I haven't had much time to work on is, since I've been working on the actual series and a few other projects.

bounty hunter2's review on As Hope is Fading

I am posting you a short review on the cinematic As Hope is Fading.

To start, the terrain wasn't all bad, however most of it was. The tiles used were bad, and the trees aswell. You should import a custom made tree, vary the sizes of them.

The cameras were average, could be done a lot better. I suggest you keep them fluid at all time, with no static parts. The angles were all from the ground, I didn't like the monotony of them.

The music was regular warcraft, what I highly disapprove, however the voices you used from Blizzard served fine. Some of them were annoying a bit, such as CMarket said, but I liked it.

The story wasn't revealed at all, I could just see it's something to do with the regular warcraft Blizzard story.

The constant teleports were annoying and strange.

Overall, not so bad with some potential in you. I suggest you look into this tutorial for some tips: (Made by me :p)

Good luck!

Several things I regret - I made this a while ago before I really learned about good terraining, fluid cameras, custom trees, and imported music. As this was made before I even joined THW. The cinematic this was based on was given to me by a friend,

My biggest regret, however, is saying this is a trailer to my series. As the series has now left the world of warcraft(not WoW) completely. I should be working on the first part harder to get it out because it explains some things from the "trailer". Such as the teleports. And in my opinion has much better camera and terrain work.

I like it.
I didnt mind the Bilzzard Voices at all. Much better than voice acting, also a clever way of utilizing tools.
Along with that to be able to do that on your first cinematic is pretty damn good.
You have a 5/5 from me

Well, It was my first time watching that video, and i have to say, that it looks pretty good. Although, it really looks like a trailer and not like an intro :p

I like the models and the stuff that is happening (I like the German voices :p), but I didn't really get it what the stuff you're going to make is about.
