Hi folks,

A few months ago, I started writing detailed reviews and analysis of AoS maps and putting them on a blag called Lane-Pushing Games. My goal is to try and preserve the history and roots of the AoS genre, which I feel is very vulnerable to being forgotten as the years go by.

For now I am working on maps earlier in Warcraft's history, but I will try to cover everything eventually. I already have a good number of maps to keep me going, but this is a reference for everyone. If there's a map which meant something to you, or you feel is review-worthy, please tell me a little about it and include any relevant links (download, homepage, etc.), and I will hopefully get around to it.

You can check the Contents page to see what I've done so far. If you have any feedback on the reviews themselves, feel free to let me know here as well.

Nice blog. Do you know about the origin of the genre?

I didn't play the original Starcraft so I wouldn't know. Maybe you do. It would be a cool topic anyway.

I'm guessing you're already planning on doing EotA and ToB (... and DotA?). The only other AoS I played often was HosK, which you already covered. Nonetheless, nice job on the blag. Any league/Dota2 player should visit that site to see the great maps that led to the hit MoBA's.

Good luck! Have some rep.
