The map genre is AoS, inspired by other AoS genre map, such as: DDay, DotA, AoM, ToB.

Features
◊ Elemental system:
There are four elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water
and the fifth neutral element: Arcane
These elements are applied to damage of spells and, in some cases, to the hero’s attack as well.
I hope this would bring more battle extensions and strategies.
◊ Heroes:
Maximum level is 20
Each level, hero gains 1 primary attribute and 3 free distributing attributes
Each hero has 8 skills, 4 active and 4 traits (passive). Can only learn 4 out of 8 skills
Additional to these 8 skills are 4 attribute bonus skills. Can only learn one.
Each skill has 4 levels, there is no ultimate
◊ Items
Item Upgrade: it’s like “item combine” with only basic item and the scroll
Item Enhancement: the use of gem and orb to provide item with additional stats and even enhance their ability, some items require an orb to unlock their ability.

The host (first user player from 1 to 10) can use chat command to select game mode within the first ten seconds of game time.
Main game modes:
All Random (-ar): forces all players to get a randomly chosen hero.
Additional modes:
Obelisk (-ob): takes control of two Obelisks and defense them for a limited time to win.
Death Match (-dm): Kills enemy heroes and reach certain score to win.
Optional modes:
No Upgrade (-nu): upgrades at the town halls are disabled.
No PowerUps (-np): no runes will be spawned.
No Respawn Time (-nr): hero respawn time is fixed at 5 seconds.
No Obelisk Bonus (-do): disable bonus of obelisks, they can still be captured.
Rebuild (-rb): enable rebuilding of town halls and towers
♦ Default mode: destroy enemy’s town hall to strip them of base control. Victory comes when enemy no longer has any controlling bases.
Destroying the town hall will strip enemy’s control and also destroy this base’s remaining towers.
♦ Obelisk mode (game mode -ob): take control of two obelisks:
and defend them for a set amount of time to win.
to take control of an obelisk: simply order "smart" (right click) on the obelisk, your hero will automatically channel an ability on the obelisk, after done channeling, the obelisk is yours.

To open Hero Selection Dialog:
hover on an icon to view hero's information on the board. Some hero story is long, use up arrow and down arrow to prev/next page.

◊ Hero

When the game started, hero of each player will randomly receive one element with corresponding stats:

You will see mana bar above your hero, at its left side is an icon that indicate hero’s element (only visible to allies). There are some commands for this:
-mbz # : add value of # to mana bar’s Z offset, # in range of -50 to 100 (default is 0)
-mbtr # : set the transparency of the mana bar, # in range of 0.0 to 1.0 (0.0 is invisible)
-smb/-hmb : show/hide your hero's mana bar
-samb/-hamb : show/hide your ally heroes's mana bar
Clicking on the usual “Hero Skill” button, your selection will change to a dummy
Buttons on “inventory panel”:
- Slot 1: display number of unspent stat points
- Slot 2, 4, 6: click to spend stat points on Strength, Agility, Intelligence
- Slot 3: switch Orb Effect (if there is any)
- Slot 5: return selection to your hero (you can also use ESC to do so)
Buttons on “ability panel”:
- Click to learn your skills.
- On the first row are active skills
- On the second row are traits (passive skills)
- On the third row are attribute bonus skills.
note: when your selection is on dummy, you can’t control your hero so be careful to switch your selection back. You can also use selection group to quickly switch between the dummy and your hero.
Use -st command to view detailed information about your hero.
Additionally, you can use -spst command to view your hero's spell stats.
◊ Base
¯¯¯¯¯¯
There are 8 bases in total, divided evenly for two sides.
♦ Town Hall:
Each base has a town hall which maintain base control and creep spawn.
Town Hall can be upgraded to spawn more powerful creeps.
It also contains upgrades for buildings, creeps and heroes.
Can be rebuilt (by both sides) by using the Circle of Power appeared after its destruction.
♦ Tower:
Defensive structure which has True Sight (reveals nearby invisible units) and Anti-Hero (deals increased damage for consecutive hits on heroes).
Can be upgraded to gain more HP, armor and damage.
Can be rebuilt by using the Circle of Power appeared afater its destruction.
♦ Farm: decoractive structures
◊ Way Gate
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Way Gate is a mean to travel to the fountain or from the fountain to bases.
Each base has a Way Gate which is used to travel to the fountain. Gaining control of base allows its usage.
From fountain, you can travel to any available Way Gate.
You also can:
- Right click at the fountain area: your heroes/units will automatically use the nearest available Way Gate.
- Right click at a location outside the fountain: your heroes/units will automatically use the fountain Gate Way to travel to the nearest available Way Gate.
After using a Way Gate, you cannot use one again within 10 seconds.
Reason why I don't use default way gate: there is no cooldown and it can be exploited.
◊ Item
¯¯¯¯¯¯
♦ Item Class: there are four main classes: Weapon, Armor, Shield, Accessory
♦ Basic items: provide stats and useful abilities.
♦ Upgrade Items:
- More powerful items which are upgraded from basic items by using “scroll”
- The upgraded items, however, can be “downgraded” using your Circle of Power. You can get your lower-grade item and 40% of the upgrade cost back.
♦ Gems:
Can be accessed through your Circle of Power
Gem’s cost starts at 200 gold and increases by 200 for each purchase, up to 1000 gold so use your gems wisely.
Gem provide additional bonus to item in which it is socketed:
The provided bonus depends on socketing item’s class which is clearly written in tooltip. these added bonus do not show in socketing item's tooltip, though
To socket a gem: simply right click on the gem and click on the item which you want to socket (in other words: move gem onto socketing item)
Extra bonus: some items gain more bonus when socketed with a specific gem.
For example: the item Nightshade Ring and gem Emerald
As an Accessory, this ring will receive “3 hp regeneration” when socketed with an Emerald but in this case, its ability Corrosive Shield is enhanced and will reduce more armor of its target.
To view sockets of an item: double right click on the item (in other words: move the item in its position) to view its sockets.
♦ Orbs:
Provides an Orb-Effect, an modifier to your hero’s attack.
You can carry many orbs but only one Orb Effect can be actived at a time.
You can chose which Orb Effect to use by using -oe command.
Can also be socketed into item but it will not have any effect unless specified by the socketing item.
Some item abilities require a socketed orb to be usable.
Orb can be un-socketed: open item’s socket and drop the orb onto “Close” button or on the ground.

Author's notes
I have been in map making for a long time but don't have any significant map yet.
I like AoS game and I stick with "HAVOC" for quite some time.
I would be greatly appreciate if someone would play and give me reviews, it would be the best if you can test this with many players.
The map is pretty unstable, it is still saved in debug mode so I will not upload it in the Map section.
