I was encountering some problems with internet giving me viruses. I was thinking which one is the best antivirus to take care of internet security?

If you need something free, try AVG. Just an antivirus isn't enough though. You need a firewall, an anti-spyware and maybe an IP blocker. Also, if you use Firefox, install the NoScript addon, which blocks javascript, XSS, Flash and a lot more.

Avira is considered to be one of the most accurate antivirus softwares. And a free version is available for download.
