You've got too many particles in the death animation. Try increasing their size and decreasing the emission rate. Also, the texture doesn't help define the model at all, especially when you apply a single block to every piece. Try wrapping pieces individually and adding detail for each piece (rivets, bolts, etc.)

Ya I have to admit, I am so bad 2D arter, that is best what I can do, otherwise I definitely think to this is my best model so far.
Btw I am working on texture atm.
