Animation "problems"

OK Here's the deal. I just imported a model that I am going to use for a hero in my map, but the problem is he has like, 12 Attack Animations, and I already chose the 2-3 I want him to attack with. HOW Do I specify the ones that he uses for attacking, as I know how to do it for spells and other things.
 
You can use multiple abilities of those, add them in a spellbook and disable that spellbook in the Map Initialization. Add the spell book ability to your unit, but change the chance of the Pulverize ability, up to the number of the abilities you are going to use; for example, if you want to use 4 animations, set the chance for each of the Pulverize ability to 25%. Don't forget to change "Data - Minimum Spells" and "Data - Maximum Spells" fields to the number of the abilities you are going to add to the spell book. To disable the spell book, in case you don't know:
  • Trig
  • Events
    • Map Initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • For each (Integer A) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
      • Loop - Actions
        • Player - Disable Spell Book for Player(IntegerA)

I'm actually having problems, I have the trigger right, but I don't really understand what to do for the ability, for example, do I make it a unit ability or item ability, (the spell book), I tried it both ways but it doesn't work so I need more help with that. It DOES NOT appear in the ability thing in the bottom right, which is good, but it doesn't work please help.
 
Another option that may help you optomize the map is to grab a tool like Magos or (Better yet) Oinerwinkles Animation Remover.

Open up the model, rename the attack animations and any other animation you dont want to Delete 1,2,3,4,5,etc. In Magos, if you delete them, it won't lower the file size but they wont' be in the way, better just to rename them. In Oinerwinkles, if you remove each of them, it will lower the file size, probably by a lot (150+kb for 8 attack animations). However to delete them in Oinerwinkles they have to be mdls, so you'll want a file converter like Yogbul's File Converter.

If you removed them with oinerwinkles, then from there convert it back to a mdx using a conversion tool like Yogbul's File Converter. It's safe and easier than programming and making spellbooks, trust me.
