Okay I've been having a problem for a while now and so far no solutions have come to light.

Different items grant different attack speeds via the Endurance Aura. This much works fine. The problem is HOW it grants different attack speeds. Instead of lowing the cooldown time between attacks, it just speeds up the whole animation/progress of the attack. So when your model attacks at normal animation speeds at his normal cooldown, with increased or decreased attack speed, he either moves like a snail, or lashes out at light speed, both of which are entirely unbelievable.

I need a way to reliably increase/decrease attack speed without resulting in massive animation problems that look just plain bizarre. Replacing the unit when he gains a new speed weapon is not an option as I would have to have like 30 identical heroes for every possible attack speed, time three again, one for Strength, Intelligence, and Agility.

Can anyone help me with this, or at least confirm they know what I am talking about?

Tried that, doesn't work. For whatever reason, the trigger seems to just have no effect at all on his animations no matter what variable I set it to. Only time I got it to work even remotely was on attack it would set the number, and then it would slow down his drawback animations, but not the actual attack.

this works for me, well I only tried it once in a spell but it definitely worked good. I think the attack cooldown gets decreased by increasing attack speed but I noticed that it do not get lower than the attack animation time of that unit (just based on what I see though I'm technically unsure because maybe its just my eyes)

I do not usually use endurance aura on items just when I need both ASPD and MS bonus, mostly for ASPD I just use gloves of haste.
