Animation help

Hi there, i'm editing a model, its based off of the riderless horse and the villager models, but i have a dilema, How do i keep the horse's animations while adding new animations to the human counterpart thats sitting on him?
I used geosetmerger to add the human villager to it, then i edited it using mdlvis, but like i said earlier, how would i, lets say, add an archer animation to him while the horse still moves?

Btw, dont think i'm inactive because of my signature, i'm just, not, very active.

Here's the model that i edited, see if you can add the "Highelf archer", "Footman," "Defend"
