Amount of rep don't show up

I noticed, if I give reputation to someone, than i can't see how much does he/she have now. I mean i see the gems but no value if i hold my mouse on it, so i have to refresh the site or something. Is this happening only to me or to others too?
And also the box where you can write something when you giving reputation is sort of small(you can't see the red line under if you make a typo and and to click somewhere to clear, you have to use arrow keys)

This may not be importand, but this is what i noticed.

After you give the rep the browser doesn't refresh, it just redirects to the last page. Pressing the refresh button or visiting his/her user profile could have been easier than making a thread about it. I think it's a browser problem, not a site bug.

It is true, you must reload the page after giving reputation to see the updated number.

um... wouldn't the amount of rep simply be +1?
(or depending on the amount of rep you are able to give...)?
