[Spell] Alternatives to Morph

In the current version of Warcraft 3 Reforged, the morph abilites are completely broken. Upon morphing, the unit will only get the new abilities from the new unit, but all unit stats and visuals are the exact same. I need a system (Either with triggers or abilities) that can instantly replace the casting unit with another unit that has diffrent stats, abilities and doesn't get picked together with the original unit upon selection.
I considered using the replace trigger in some way, though i think it will remove all buffs that the current unit has?

Have you tried the chaos ability? This one completely replaces a unit with a different one instead of just applying an animation tag.

It is a passive ability, though and has to be triggered by a dummy ability.

I think i solved my issue by using morph in an alternative way. Will chaos not replace all units with the ability or am i mistaken?

Chaos simply replaces the unit it is applied to with the unit specified in the chaos data field.

The unit will inherit all buffs, hp, mana, the unit's handle id and all abilities (if abilities are set to permanent) and will remain selected if the original unit was selected before.
It is however a bit buggy on item stats if the unit has a hero inventory filled with items granting stat bonuses.
These will be applied as permanent bonuses to the chaos unit, so make sure you remove all items from the unit before applying chaos. Then you can add them back to the inventory afterwards.

How to trigger Chaos individually? And does it lag less when it is an individual activation? I have experienced lag spikes when i use Chaos on an army all at once.

It is not triggered. Chaos instantly changes the unit that learns that ability.

So if you want to morph a unit using chaos, all you have to do is apply that ability and it will instantly be replaced.
